Youtube in my opinion and experience is the best personal development tool in the world, both as a user and a viewer.

I have made over 500 videos and uploaded them to Youtube over the last few years and I believe that it has been one of the most growing decisions that I have ever made.

I really do believe that Youtube is the best personal development tool in the world if you see it as such. Sure, people upload all sorts of rubbish to Youtube, and they won’t see it that way, nor will the people who go to Youtube, solely to be entertained.

My primary use of Youtube is to reach a mass audience easily and quickly with an intention to educate, inspire and transform lives, with a little mix of entertainment as well. The majority of videos that I watch on Youtube are educational in nature.

I aim to make each video better than the last, so to do this I simply decide to give my best in each one and leave the rest up to the Universe.

I notice with some ‘Youtubers’ they don’t have this attitude of constant and never ending improvement and so if you look at their first video and then look at their 100th video, there is not much of a difference in that you would not know which is their first and which is their last.

Youtube or should I say your Youtube viewers and subscribers are the perfect accountability partners. They will let you know when you are slacking off and also give you praise when you are stepping up.

I have done a few 100 day challenges where I inform my subscribers in advance what I will be doing and then they hold me accountable to making each video, it is an awesome relationship.

You also learn to have a thick skin as many people with their anonymity and behind the safety of their keyboard can make all sorts of nasty comments, and in these cases it is important to not take anything personally. Many of these people are simply venting their own frustrations with life and themselves.

The other thing with Youtube is that you can make money from it and even make a full time income from your youtube channel. This has been made easier than ever now as Youtube as allowed anyone who creates an account to start profiting from advertising revenue, as this used to be only for Youtube partners, which there was quite a strict criteria.
