The Best Time to Give up on Your Dreams

It may take some time to accomplish your dreams and aspirations, more time than you initially thought it might, but this is no reason to give up on them. The time will pass anyway no matter what you are doing. Facing and overcoming challenges is part of the journey.

We often over-estimate what we can achieve in a year and vastly under-estimate what we can achieve in ten or twenty years.

You will step into your greatness and it is always worth the pain that comes before the breakthrough happens. Dare to dream big and do big! Be patient and move forward steadfastly. The universe will recognise your persistence and it will be rewarded.

Part 2 Leg Break! (continued from yesterday)

The troop that was meant to stay together as one unit was now strung out further than I could see behind me. I was with a core group of six at the front, but I was struggling. My legs felt heavy and something didn’t feel right.

My left leg started to fill with lactic acid and I began to fall away from the core group. I looked down at my legs and noticed my right leg was not pulling its weight!

My foot was slapping off the ground and my left leg was compensating for my rogue right leg, which now had a mind of its own and would not follow my commands. The lactic acid continued to fill my thigh muscles.

I knew something was seriously wrong, but in my mind I had to pass this no matter what! “What the fuck is wrong with you Armstrong” said one of the training team as he ran up beside me. I did not have the energy or knowledge to answer him and all my focus and concentration was just being able to put one foot in-front of the other and not let the core group at the front get away from me!
