Walking The Santiago Trail in winter has it’s challenges. Toady the Camino wouldn’t let us walk. It had other ideas and wanted us to take the bus into Burgos and have a rest day. Setting off from Granon this morning on El Camino De Santiago, we walked straight into a cold head wind, which disturbed Victoria enough for her to turn around and walk back towards Granon. Walking the Camino De Santiago in the winter is a completely different matter than any other season. It can be dangerous if the correct equipment is not carried and clothing worn.
