How To Live Your Life On Purpose Like A Jedi!

Do you really want to know how to live your life on purpose like a Jedi…well what I am about to say may cause some controversy in your mind, because to live your life on purpose you must forget about your purpose!

It has come to my attention that the word purpose and the meaning that most people give to it creates a heaviness within us. This is because most people see themselves as being on Earth for a purpose and if they haven’t fulfilled that purpose then they have not succeeded—and conversely, what stops them from fulfilling their purpose is that they will no longer have anything to live for.

What if your purpose was simply to continue to connect with the love and gratitude that is in your heart? Then you could get on with the things that you enjoy doing the most!

Through many years of coaching and receiving thousands of emails from people asking advice or telling me their story, I find many of them struggling because they don’t know what their purpose is or that they feel like a failure because they are not achieving it.

I find that having a priority allows us to focus on what we truly desire, and we can live our priorities every day.

It starts with creating a compelling vision for your life and this can be done through asking yourself questions such as:

“How would I truly love my life to be if there were no limitations?”

“What would I love to do if there were no limitations?”

“Where would I love to live?”

“What would I love to achieve?”

“How would I love everyday to look like?”

“What do I love doing on a daily basis?”

Through asking questions like this, a picture will start to be painted in your minds eye and from this you will see what you highest priority actionable tasks are.

To truly live a life of ease and abundance, you must become conscious of the things you love doing, because it is only doing the things that you love doing that will create a life worth living.

But there is one thing that I want to be clear on and that is sometimes we must do the things that are hard and we don’t enjoy doing to give us what we want.

For example the most difficult exercise to do in the gym is the squat. It taxes the whole body like no other. Doing a few sets of heavy intense squats your legs will be on fire and feel like jelly and your lungs will feel like they are ready to explode, but the benefits and what you get from them far outweigh the momentary pain!

Growth hormone is secreted from the pituitary gland all around the body and the feeling of wellbeing afterwards is incredible and can last for days. Having strong powerful legs to move your body around gives huge boost in confidence. Do I love doing squats? No not really, but I love what I get from doing them. Most people avoid intense squatting in the gym and their potential results suffer as a consequence.

If you want to know what your priorities really are then write down everything you have thought felt and taken action on in the last 7 days. Highlight the things that you want to keep doing and see what priorities aren’t really serving you and then replace them with the ones that will! Do this now, because this is how you change your life and you will never have to be concerned about what your purpose is again, but you will be living your life on purpose, like a Jedi!
