How To Believe In Yourself And Start bending The Universe
There is a powerful process and steps that you can take to start bending the universe and achieve anything you desire.
We often hear that if we want to do anything beyond mediocrity then we have to believe in ourselves. Without belief we are likely to fall at the first hurdle.
It is easy to become despondent when we here this so many times but things still don’t work out for us, but the truth is that we were maybe never taught how to believe.
Before belief comes desire. Desire is the fuel that will give us a reason to believe and the greater our desire or reason why, then the more powerful our belief will be.
I learned this a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…well if you are reading this in Andromeda then it is a Galaxy far, far away, or a solar system just to be accurate!
I had asthma for more than 10 years growing up and had to puff on an inhaler 10 times a day. Anytime I did anything that was physically exerting, my tubes would close up and I literally could not breathe properly.
So when I told everyone that I was going to join the Royal Marine Commando’s, it was met with laughter or simple disbelief. Some people looked at me like a confused dog would. I was told by many authority figures that I couldn’t do it, from my teachers in school to my doctor and of course some friends and family had their doubts.
An amazing thing happened. The day I travelled to Lympstone in Devon, England was the last day that I needed my inhaler for 4 years.
Looking back I wondered what gave me the belief and how was I able to overcome such odds, because this was a guy who couldn’t even complete the cross country run in school to 2 years later breaking the Royal Marines assault course record for the year, running 30 miles carrying 45lbs of equipment and all manner of other arduous tasks and physical feats.
I worked it out to be a six step process:
1. Desire – I had a big reason why. For me there was no plan B. This was it and only it.
2. Belief – This desire allowed me to believe, and both these together fueled my…
3. Action – Without desire and belief I would not have taken any purposeful action. Massive desire gave me massive belief, which allowed me to take massive action.
4. Visualisation – I focused on what I wanted to achieve in great detail, and allowed this vision to take up most of my waking day.
5. Ask for help – I asked for help because I realised that there were greater forces at work than I could comprehend. I humbled myslef and invited higher intelligence to assist me.
6. Get unreasonable – If I was a reasonable person, I would have listened to my teachers, my doctor and my body, but I didn’t. I flicked the over-ride switch in my brain and only listened to the internal voice. I did not adapt to the world, but instead made the world adapt to me.
This is how powerful you are right now to make the change you wish to make!
