Going beyond Forgiveness!

Going beyond Forgiveness!

Going beyond Forgiveness!

Is is possible to go beyond forgiveness? From my point of view it is…in fact forgiveness is simply a stepping stone to gratitude and love.

Forgiveness can heal any disease because it undoes the blocks to loves presence, and love is the greatest of healers.

Many people misunderstand forgiveness and they see it as letting another person off the hook for doing something bad to them. The truth is that forgiveness has nothing to do with anyone else but yourself. When you hold any sort of resentment to another, it is you that is being slowly poisoned by this resentment.

I was just listening to an audio program by David Wood and he was saying that he had a wart on his foot that he tried in vain to get rid of, but nothing seemed to work. He even tried to freeze it and cut it off but it kept growing back.

David Wood was at a seminar and the facilitator lead the participants through a forgiveness exercise, someone came to his mind, who he didn’t even realise he still held any resentment to. But after going through the forgiveness exercise, he felt much lighter from the experience and more than that, the wort on his foot dried up and fell off right in front of his eyes 15 minutes after completing the forgiveness exercise.

Of course some people will think “poppycock”, but this is only one example of many thousands of examples that can be found of even much more serious conditions that have been completely healed after the person experienced forgiveness and let go of any resentment to another. Even diseases that Doctors have diagnosed as terminal.

Holding a grudge or resentment to anyone even yourself, will only weigh you down in life. It is baggage and I invite you to lay it down and move on. As I write this it is just over 24 hours until 2014.

Many people are making new years resolutions, but the best thing to do is to walk into the new year with a clean slate, a blank piece of paper. I can safely say that if anyone on the planet sincerely wanted a hug, I would greet them with open arms. Even the people that I have never met, world leaders, famous people, people who may have completely different values and moral stand-points to me or that have committed atrocities.

When George W. Bush was in power I used to send him a psychic hug now and again…he needed it. He seemed to be so disconnected from his heart and received so much psychic attack that I thought he could do with a bit of psychic love, and it was a good exercise for me to do for my own peace of mind. It is a great exercise to do, so I recommend it. It is those that demonstrate the least love that need love the most!

I have a belief that everyone is doing the best that they can with the resources they have available, so having this belief releases judgement of others. Then there is nothing to forgive! Through the veil of forgiveness we arrive at “Thank you, I love you”!

In fact all of life is learning so the people that we think we have to forgive are actually some of our best teachers, so I say to them “Thank you ‘for giving me’ this experience”! When you get to this place of acceptance then this is true freedom!

Gratitude opens the heart wide and allows the love to pour out. This is how we go beyond forgiveness. This understanding will change the world more than anything!
